We were talking about it here last week and now confirmed:Kenneth Ferguson named new Boys Basketball coach at Dudley High School

We were talking about this here last week and we were saying from what we had been hearing, Kenneth Ferguson was going to be the new boys basketball coach at James B. Dudley High School…

Coach Ferguson played for coach David Price at Dudley and he was an assistant boys basketball coach under Coach Price and stayed on as an assistant coach on the new staff, when Coach Price stepped down and Coach Brian Seagraves took over the team…

Coach Ferguson has been loyal to the ‘Panther Nation’ and now he gets his chance to run the boys basketball program…Wish him the best and it is much tougher to get it going and keep it going these days with all of the player transitions to new and different schools and with players leaving high school early to go play college football, but Coach Ferguson will have a good foundation to build on with Josh Hopkins due to return and Hendon Hooker and Brion Seagraves both due to return to Panthers, if don’t leave school early in December and check into college in January 2017….

The road is long, but Coach Kenneth Ferguson has been on the same road at Dudley for the past 20 years and that is not a road, but it is a street, Lincoln Street, which runs out in front of James B. Dudley High School……Coach Kenneth Ferguson knows that road/street well and he is still headed in the same direction…..And they call him “Coach Ferg”……
