Coach Jared Rolfes with Northwest Guilford

How has summer camp concluded for your team?
We felt really good about our off season training, spring ball, and summer preparation. The kids bought in and we are now being led by a big senior class with a lot to prove.

What are some things that we can expect to see from your team this year?
We will be well coached, disciplined, hard-working, and sound in what we do. We expect to take the next step as a whole team bringing back a young team from a year ago only graduating 9 seniors.

Following up from last season, what has changed and how do you plan to fill the void of the senior leadership that graduated?
We have made some adjustments to our offense. We felt we needed to do some things a little different to neutralize some of the great talent we face. It also allows us to put the ball in the hands of our play makers in the ways we would like to. The seniors in 2015 did a good job continuing to build our culture. We feel we are ready for the next step and the leadership in this group is being asked to step up even more in 2016.

Who are some stars on your team that we should keep an eye out for?
Thomas Hennigan #7 – WR/RB/QB
Tre Turner #3 – WR
Zach Tyler #25 – LB/RB
Austin Scott #67 – OL
Cam Cloud #2 – RB/SLOT
Jacob Leonard #12 – QB
Cody Miller #6 – DB
Jacob Fields #44 – DL
