BIG NIGHTS AHEAD FOR THE DIAMOND R
Ragsdale Athletics kicks in to full gear beginning tonight, as the Tiger Cheerleading Team will be competing in the NewBridge Bank Jamboree Cheerleader Invitational at NewBridge Stadium in Downtown Greensboro. Gates open at 6:00 PM; competition begins at 7:00. Ragsdale’s Football program will be participating in the NewBridge Football scrimmage at Rockingham County High School tomorrow evening, Friday, August 12. Start time for tomorrow evening is 6:00 PM. On behalf of Ragsdale Athletics: a special thank you to NewBridge Bank, NewBridge’s Leslie Holland, and the entire staff at NewBridge Bank for making this Big Time Event first class in every phase! Twenty-four of the area’s top high schools are involved in this prestigious event, and the proceeds that NewBridge gives back to each school are incredibly helpful and appreciated! Thank you so much, NewBridge Bank!
Ragsdale’s Women’s Tennis, Men’s Soccer, and Volleyball open play next week. Women’s Golf and Cross Country will begin competition the following week. The entire Ragsdale Community is extremely proud of our athletes, our coaches, and the teams you comprise. Your hard work, sweat, dedication, unselfishness, and above all your character, represent the Diamond R in a manner that makes us all proud to be Ragsdale Tigers.
One final note (and it’s a big one): next Friday, August 19, FOX8 will be on the Ragsdale Campus for live coverage at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to open up the 2016 High School Football Season.
