GREENSBORO, N.C. – – Paul Casey, 2014 FedExCup champion Billy Horschel, 2011 PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley and Danny Lee will play next week’s Wyndham Championship, the tournament announced today. The 77th annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 15-21, 2016 at Sedgefield Country Club.

These players join 2016 PGA Championship winner Jimmy Walker, former Wyndham winner Brandt Snedeker, World No. 14 Patrick Reed, World No. 21 J.B. Holmes, World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els, Wake Forest alumnus Bill Haas, U.S. Open champions Webb Simpson, Retief Goosen, Graeme McDowell, Jim Furyk, Angel Cabrera and Lucas Glover, PGA Championship winners Jason Dufner and David Toms, Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama, Kevin Kisner, Kevin Na, William McGirt, former world No. 1 Luke Donald, World Golf Hall of Famer Vijay Singh, Open Championship winners Justin Leonard and Stewart Cink, former Wyndham winners Ryan Moore, Carl Pettersson, Camilo Villegas and Arjun Atwal, Scott Piercy, Harris English, Irish star Shane Lowry as well as Spanish stars Rafael Cabrera Bello and Jon Rahm in the field.

Casey finished tied for third here last year and will make his seventh Wyndham Championship appearance next week. This season, he finished tied for fourth at the Masters, seventh at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship, tied for ninth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard and tied for 10th at the PGA Championship last month. He has one PGA TOUR victory to his credit but has 14 international victories. A native of England formerly ranked No. 3 in the World, he has represented the European Team in the Ryder Cup three times. Casey is 63rd in the current FedExCup point standings and 28th in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Horschel stormed through the 2014 FedExCup Playoffs winning the BMW Championship and the TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola to claim the 2014 FedExCup championship and its $10 Million prize. This season, his best finishes are tied for tied for fourth at the Valero Texas Open and tied for eighth at the Farmers Insurance Open and the Honda Classic. The three-time PGA TOUR winner is 73rd in the Official World Golf Rankings and 83rd FedExCup point standings; he is making his fifth Wyndham Championship appearance.

Bradley won the PGA Championship in 2011 among his three PGA TOUR victories. He finished tied for eighth at both the OHL Classic ay Mayakoba and the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide. He is a two-time Ryder Cup player and has represented the United States in the Presidents Cup once. He makes his first Wyndham Championship start next week. Bradley is 113th in FedExCup points and 111th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Lee made his PGA TOUR debut at the Wyndham Championship in 2008 as the U.S. Amateur champion and finished tied for 20th – the best finish by an amateur in tournament history. This year’s tournament will be Lee’s fifth Wyndham appearance. A native of New Zealand now living in Irving, Texas, he has one PGA TOUR victory, the 2015 Greenbrier Classic. His best finishes this season are fourth at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and tied for ninth at the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte. He is 45th in the Official World Golf Rankings and 65th in FedExCup points.
