Starting to Stack up the Stats:Lining up the Stats after Week One of the High School Football Season

Some schools do not have their stats posted yet, but thanks to the schools that do, we can start stacking up the Stats for the 2016 High School Football Season and keep tracking them, week-to-week, all season long, just like we did last year….

If you are one of the schools that does not have your stats up on MaxPreps, get somebody to post them, so we call follow the Guilford County Football and track what they are doing this season….If a kid is doing well, he deserves to get his name up and that way, we can get him some recognition…

  1. I have read a lot about all of the offensive football players that get offers from many of the D1 programs but does this area produce a lot of D1 defensive offers. It appears a lot of RB, QB and WR’s have went to the VT, Clemson, UNC & NC States in recent years but are these high level D1 programs get a lot of players from Guilford Co for positions such as LB, CB, etc?

  2. A corner from Dudley just committed to UNC last Friday, and a safety from Grimsley is committed to Penn St. There’s also a corner at Tennessee from Dudley getting some p/t. Lbacker from Dudley at Clemson and there is a D.B at Swest with a couple of high major offers. That’s just to name a few from the past year or two.

  3. Dudley’s Hooker ran 3 TDs in against Carver
    and E. Perkins ran 1
Running back from Northern, Koonce, should get a chance to play. Real fast!
Proud to hear that Western is turning things around.
I think Guilford Co has some great athletes.

  4. I don’t have exact #’s but Chad Stevens and Miles Fairley both had to be around or above the 100 yd rushing mark against West Charlotte Friday. Chad is a beast and Miles is like a rabbit.

  6. The bottom line and ask any coach, AD or football person that has been around for a while…

“Offense sells tickets and defense wins games…”

It has been that way in most sporting events since back when they brought out the Lions in the Den, but that really is the story, Offense sells tickets and defense wins games…

On TV that has been the true story for football forever too….Offense sells tickets and defense wins games…You are watching the games to see the offense and the defense is secondary…Pardon the punishment of that pun…
