ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women’s tennis team begins its fall season this weekend, Sept. 9-11, when the Phoenix hosts its annual Elon Fall Invitational at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
“We are looking forward to hosting our annual Elon Fall Invitational,” said head coach Elizabeth Anderson. “There will be a lot of great tennis at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center and we hope our fans will come and watch some great matches.”
The following nine schools, in addition to the Phoenix, will be making the trip to Elon for the event: Liberty, Wake Forest, UNCG, Winthrop, Richmond, Emory, N.C. Central, Radford and Appalachian State.

Play begins at 10 a.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
