Elon Women’s Golf Continues Play at Golfweek Program Challenge

PAWLEY’S ISLAND, S.C. – The Elon University women’s golf team completed the second day of the Golfweek Program Challenge on Monday, Sept. 12, at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

Boston College and Campbell are tied for the lead with a 575 (+7) two-round total. The Phoenix is in 15th place after day two.

HIGHLIGHTS
Heather Munro turned in another solid round for the Phoenix, draining two birdies and finishing with a 4-over par round of 75. Munro remains in the top-20 individually and is tied for 19thoverall after two days of competition.

Kelsey Badmaev carded a second round of 83 (+12) and is tied for 59th with a 162 (+20) score for the tournament. Hilda Kristjansdottir and Aurelia Hamm are each tied for 67th with a two-round score of 164. Hamm finished with a 10-over par 81 and Kristjansdottir carded an 82.

Katie Reilly posted a mark of 85 for the second consecutive round and is in 75th place individually.

UP NEXT
The Phoenix concludes play at Golfweek Program Challenge as the final round will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 a.m.
