Elon Women’s Golf Concludes Play at the Golfweek Program Challenge

PAWLEY’S ISLAND, S.C. – The Elon University women’s golf team wrapped up play at the Golfweek Program Challenge after the final round on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.

Boston College finished as the champions with a 13-over par 865 for the tournament, beating Campbell by one stroke. The Phoenix finished the tournament in 14th place.

HIGHLIGHTS
Kelsey Badmaev turned in Elon’s best individual round carding a one-over par 72 (+1) on the final day. She finished tied for 42nd overall with a 234 (+21) score for the tournament.

Heather Munro carded a six-over par 77 in the final round and finished tied for 24th overall as an individual with a three-round score of 225 (+12). She was Elon’s highest-finishing individual.

In addition for Phoenix, Aurelia Hamm finished tied for 59th individually after finishing the tournament with a 77 (+6) on Tuesday. Hilda Kristjansdottir turned in a score of 244 () overall for the tournament, tying for 68th individually.

Katie Reilly improved on her marks from each of the first two rounds by five strokes. She carded an 80 in the final round for a tie in 73rd place.

UP NEXT
The Phoenix will head to Greenville, N.C., Sept. 26-27, to take part in the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate.
