Kickoff tonight for Football in Focus at the Shane’s Rib Shack on Westover Terrace is set for 6pm and go at six with Joe Sirera from the News and Record set to highlight the key high school football games that are due up this week in and around Guilford County with games like Dudley at Richmond County, East Forsyth at Page, Southeast Guilford at Southwest Guilford, Northwest Guilford at Grimsley, High Point Andrews vs. High Point Central and more….Among those games we just listed you have at least three teams in the mix that are (5-0) to start the season….
Some big games on the way this Friday night and that is for sure and one year ago, last year, it was East Forsyth topping Page 31-30 on a Friday night in the rain, in Kernersville and Richmond County topping Dudley, at Dudley 14-12, on a Monday night….Both Dudley and Page looking to flip that this year…From what I was seeing on a promo, the Northwest Guilford at Grimsley game will be available on Time Warner Cable Friday night around 11:30pm…TWC had Page-WS Reagan last Friday night and they are staying busy making the trek into Guilford County….Can’t get many if any Guilford County teams on the Thursday night hookup, so TWC coming after Guilford County on Friday nights with the tape-delay contests…
Also seeing where FOX 8 will have that ECU-VA Tech game on Saturday at 12:30pm and a good chance to see Mook Reynolds(Northern Guilford HS) with VA Tech and James Summers(Page HS) with East Carolina…DJ Reader(Grimsley HS) due up on WFMY TV2 tonight as his Houston Texans take on the New England Patriots on CBS….

What to do, study the menu….Get that baked chicken, which is a half of chicken soaked in Shane’s Super BBQ Sauce….Tea, Cokes, Water, Brownies, Peach Cobbler, Cookies, Shane’s has it with Paul, Troy, Big Mike, Chelsey and Mr. Curtis ready to serve you, at the Shane’s Rib Shack on Westover Terrace…
