Time to load them up as we look back at last night’s games…
(More names, numbers and links coming, but this will get us started)….
We know #3 Tre Turner had a TD for NWG last night and caught that news from a Grimsley fan(Rick Haase) that was at the game and don’t have any further numbers on Northwest Guilford HS, but love to get some started…..

300:Hendon Hooker(Dudley HS) with 300 yards total on 196 passing(10-18) and 104 rushing(11 carries), going for 2 TD’s passing and 2 TD’s running…
246:Burlington Cummings HS had been out-scored 246-0 through 4 games, before the Cummings Cavaliers finally posted a touchdown vs. Ben L. Smith last night…Smith wins 47-7…
242:Dominique Graves(Eastern Guilford HS) with 242 yards passing and 3 TD’s for EG Wildcats…

200:Ben Babcock(Bishop McGuinness) with 200 yards receiving, coming on 7 receptions, with 2 TD’s…
177:Jaren Rainey(Southwest Guilford HS) Rainey threw for three TD passes with a long of 62 to Christian Jackson, with the EST passing total at 177 and we will still need to get hard numbers on those passing numbers, but what a night for Rainey…He and his dad(Eric) will be visiting Coastal Carolina today…
175:Nic Cheeley(Eastern Guilford HS) with 175 yards receiving and 2 TD receptions…
117:The Dudley Panthers’ Defense only gave up/allowed 117 yards of total offense to the Richmond County Raiders last night and RC only had 79 total yards going into their final offensive drive of the game..RC had amassed 300 yards of offense the week before vs. Hope Mills Southview…
86:Will Jones(Page HS) with 86 combined yards passing and running with 2 TD’s running and 1 TD passing…
4:Four Interceptions by the Eastern Guilford Wildcat defense with 2 for Dennis Brooks and one each for James Artis and Isaiah Finerty…
1:Zachary White(Smith HS) with a TD run from 6 yards out and this is significant to us, since Zachary is the nephew of Dennis White, who helps us here at the site…Good job last night, Zachary White…
1:Nigel Fitzgerald:Dudley HS) recovered the on-side kick by Richmond County to begin the game last night and that proved to be a key start for Dudley…

Latimer finished with 22 of 32 completions for 444 yards. Khafre Brown had five receptions for 194 yards, and teammates Dyami Brown and Tyler Barnes each had seven receptions.

  1. Oh teacher, how wrong you are. As a parent who has been invested for a long time in all the young mens lives, you are just another person who is teaching our youth to lack the urgency to get better. Will they learn from losing, yes, but should they accept moral victories, hell no. When did it become ok to lose? When did it become ok to just participate at Northern. There is a tradition of excellence and winning. Watching the school over the past few years has been discouraging. Zero consistency in classroom staff, discipline issues, and even afults making questionable decisions. You are correct, the kids are learning, learning about inconsistency in their lives, learning to be caudled, and learning to accept defeat. Success breeds success, do not ever forget that. A school grade means NOTHING to the kids. Winning does. It is reality and a reality in which you do not live. Go by a practice, watch the kids, uninterested, not engaged. That is a behavior which is being allowed. Not a good scenario for the program…

  2. It’s a shame that no one mentioned High Point Central’s Chavis Little as one of the top backs in the area before the season started. As of right now, he leads the area in rushing, #2 in the State in rushing and #14 in the Nation in rushing. Told you he was a top back!!!

  3. Just posted his numbers on our stats post at the top of our site and have been posting him and all of the HP Central players all season long…

Would post them on Saturday too, but can’t get into the HP Enterprise on-line site due to the fact you have to pay to get in and therefore you must subscribe to their on-line service…When HP Central plays the Greensboro teams, we get what we can….

But with the Enterprise being a pay-per-view site that limits their coverage and info availability….

Here is what we posted on Chavis Little today….

1,267:Chavis Little(High Point Central HS) has 1,267 yards rushing on 129 carries for an average of 9.8 yards per carry…Averaging 211.2 yards per game 4 TD’s…
