Quotable
“The men ran a solid race and we saw a lot of personal-bests in the group,” said Elon head cross country coach Nick Polk. “Nick Ciolkowski went right up to the front and ran a tough, smart race. Our women have a lot of work to do in the next month leading up to the (Colonial Athletic Association) Championships. We didn’t race together, were too timid and never put ourselves in a good position from the start.”
