NORMAN, Okla. — Guilford College’s men’s golf team received 267 points and moved up to eighth in the second edition of the Bushnell/Golfweek NCAA Division III Coaches’ Poll. The poll was voted on by members of the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Huntingdon College topped the rankings after a pair of September victories, at the D3 National Championship Preview and the Gordin Classic. The Hawks received 14 of 20 first-place votes and 485 points overall after opening the season ranked third in Division III. Wittenberg College settled in second with 413 points, followed by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps with 412 points and five first-place votes.
