What happened to that mighty East Forsyth defense everyone has been talking about all year? Those average short WRs at Glenn put up big yards on that D.

omg,has to be changes at Northern! Those poor upperclassmen are so heartbroken over what is going on this year, never have they faced grueling losses like this, not even on JV level.Can’t keep screaming rebuilding year cause some of these kids are coming back next year thinking if we come back with these same terrible offense and defensive schemes , how can we win.Constant terrible play calling, running on passing downs, and down by 28! Poor rb never gets a break and gets punished every game. 3 games left, as fans can we please see something else besides, handoff left, handoff right, then slant! Make subs like every other team and open playbook, nothing to lose now!
Does anyone remember when they were in middle school?? Pretty sure they were 0 fer… maybe one fer there too?
@fact checker- yeah if your talking bout northern kids, i know for a fact about the junior class middle school years . Their 8th grade year they had a good team and lost to Southwest in championship game in final seconds, due to what?, dumb play calling, And I think next year or so coach was replaced. And as for that now Jr class some of those kids got little playing time and a ring their freshman year. Everyone enjoy whooping Northern this year cause that Jr class is going to bigger and way better next year and if underclassmen can grow and mature, should be quite interesting! The question is, when or if season ends on a terrible note , will AD step up and make coaching change? And if coach comes back next year will kids buy into his schemes after having terrible season this year, not sure!
You have three games that you can win remaining on the schedule….Support the coach and the AD and go get those wins….That is all you can do and that is what you have to do…
Must also give credit to the Eastern Guilford defense and their coaches like Coach Goss on defense for having the ‘Cats ready and for making the right adjustments to stop NG…On the opening drive of the game, Northern and Frazier were on the move…
I find it strange there wasn’t a contingency plan in place in the event that Coach Roscoe decides to hang up the whistle. Not so sure if the moral victory message will sit well with the suburbanites if current performance levels continue next season.
@andy durham-I think you do a solid job covering this page and your feedbacks are valuable. But you have been covering high school football for years and definitely Northern and as a bystander you know something is wrong. Not sure how many games you have seen this year, but the difference this year is not just talent but coaching. You said yourself a couple of times after halftime how teams adjusted and had a new gameplan second half and end up beating Northern. The fact that Northern is running same schemes in second half that didnt work in first half is ridiculous! Only game Northern was way out talented was Page, every other game was out schemed and out prepared, cant blame that on talent or players! Thax Andy!
