Page Athletics is excited to announce that Newton Babb has been named the new Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Page.

Coach Newton Babb attended Greensboro College where he played lacrosse.

Coach Babb is a teacher at Page and is currently serving as an assistant football coach. Coach Babb brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program.

Coach Babb takes over for former lacrosse coach, Ben McGugin who has assumed the role of Assistant Athletic Director at Page.

+++++Page Athletics is excited to announce the addition of two new cheerleading assistant coaches, Michelle Sims and Tiffany Bixby. Both ladies have extensive cheerleading experience and will bring their talents and enthusiasm to the cheerleading squads here at Page High School. Both Michelle (Counselor) and Tiffany (Science Teacher) are on staff at Page and will help coaching both the JV and Varsity cheer squads. Welcome aboard ladies.+++++

*****Page Athletics is excited to announce that Rashida Thomas has been named the new women’s JV Head Basketball Coach at Page. Coach Thomas brings extensive experience having attended and played basketball at Virginia Union University and coach at several schools in the GCS. Coach Thomas is a teacher at Page in the CTE department. While Coach Thomas is familiar with the women’s basketball program (having served as an assistant last year), her new role as Head JV Coach will allow her to implement her own coaching style while leading this year’s team as they build on their excellent success from last year. On a side note: In her free time, Coach Thomas coaches a women’s semi-pro team out of Winston Salem. Welcome aboard Coach Thomas..*****
