–Northwest Guilford came out and established the tone early in the 1st quarter with a 13-3 run versus Northern Guilford and the Vikings kept their foot on the gas on their way to a 78-45 victory over the Nighthawks. The Vikings used multiple runs sparked from their defense throughout the game. The Nighthawks fought valiantly during the 2nd half but could not cut the lead below 25 points.

–David Funderberg led Northwest with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Thomas Hennigan contributed 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists while Jalen Spicer chipped in with 14 points and 6 assists. Reggie Davis did a wonderful job for the Vikings as he added 8 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists. As the 4th scorer in double figures for Northwest, Tre Turner finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

–Andy Pack led the Nighthawks with a game high of 19 points while Trey Johnson also contributed 13 points for Northern.
