Here is the background on the title for tonight’s Basketball Blog, as it got me thinking this evening, I wonder what those girls that played Guilford County high school basketball are doing now that they are playing women’s college basketball and after seeing Paris Kea(UNC) and Shay Burnett(Elon) go at it(Sunday), I decided we need to add a few more names to our list….

You posting these names sure brings back a lot of names from the past like Helen Terry, Breona Patterson and Desire Drayton from Dudley, Miranda Jenkins from EG, the Coffer sisters with Samantha and Amanda from Northern, Trumae Lucas, Nicole Hargraves, Amber Cook, Jasmine Alston and others from Grimsley, Drew and others from Page, and here is a name that just just came back to me and this makes me know I still have some of it left upstairs, how about Jasmine Gill from Page….Boy and how about Zena Lovette and many more like Alyssa Munson from over there at NWG and the Clency kid from WG, and many more…Who are we leaving out, and you may say who haven’t we left out??? Give us some more fuel on the fire, but we have brought back some good names here at Christmas and don’t forget Julius Brooks on the boys side….Heard he was still playing pro ball along with Eric Hicks over in Germany, Spain or somewhere and how about Jackson Kent???? Think he is in his last year at JMU and we need more here brothers and sisters…
