“We continuously work on our craft each and every day,” Marry said. “We came into tonight with a little pain from last night’s loss, and we did a good job of getting back to our game.

“Basketball is a team sport and I feel like tonight was a total team win for us.”

Barnett finished with a game-high 18 points, while Gatling (16), Darus Maddox (12), and Torrance Outing (10) also scored double figures. Greensboro out rebounded the Wildcats 47-36 on the night with 14 offensive rebounds resulting in 16 second-chance points.

“I am happy with the way our guys finished the game today,” Head Coach Bryan Galuski said. “After starting out slow I think our intensity really picked up as the game went on.

“Overall I am really pleased with our performance tonight. We have to continue getting better each and every day as we still have a lot of tough opponents left on our schedule.”

The Pride men will return to the hardwood Dec. 16 when they open a two-game swing through the state of New York against Mount Saint Mary College.
