Mayors make a little ‘Friendly Wager’ on Dudley-Cape Fear football game for Saturday:Robertson vs. Vaughn and ‘The Battle’ is on

Fayetteville Mayor Nat Robertson and Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan have made a wager on the game. If Cape Fear wins, Vaughan will wear Colts colors and place a Cape Fear ornament on her Christmas tree. But if Dudley wins, Robertson will wear Panthers colors and place a Dudley ornament on his Christmas tree.

“Fayetteville, Vander and our entire Cape Fear region are very proud of Cape Fear High School’s historic run ot the state championship game this Saturday,” Robertson said in a press release. “This friendly challenge between Mayor Vaughan and I will add a friendly wager, which is all in fun.”
