  1. Performance of Tourney,
GDS guard Smith hit 6 3’s. Bengals rally down 4 in last minute to win. M. Brady hits two free throws with 3.8 seconds left. Great game!

  2. 6-15? watching these womens teams plays sickens me, shoot 3s all day long, the game of basketball isn’t being played anymore, Ragsdale yesterday as a team 1-17!!! the way the game is supposed to be played is a lost art.

  3. @6 for what,
Stat line from Heaco reads 6-8 on 3 pointers. Bball fan watched the game and all of Smith’s shots were contested and some beyond nba range. Check stat sheet from game before you speak.

Regardless Guilford County has very good women’s basketball programs and has for years. Page plays 5 out. Ragsdale and GDS don’t have the size of a NW or Northern. Dudley has some size but mainly speed and tries to press and be physical. Smith has decent shooters but needs more from their big center. Each team is playing the game with the players they have. Appreciate them or stop watching.

  4. majority of public school teams do not utilize their strengths. Regardless of having size or not, %’s say closer shots are higher % and yield more points. Of all the team you mentioned maybe only 2-3 play to their strengths, GDS being one.

  5. NW girls have two bigs, one that has potential to be dominant. They have two guards that shoot 80% of the teams total shots!! one of the guards is shooting 60% of the teams shots! what’s new though NW has had solid bigs for decades and never uses them

  6. NW won by 15.

Can’t figure out how northern player made all tourney scoring zero points in final.

Every year this is a controversy because for some reason this tourney sticks to a formula of 3 from the winner 2 from the runner up and 1 from 3rd place.
