Update on Greensboro College Baseball’s “Play 9” Dinner

Pride Baseball To Hold “Play 9” Dinner

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College Head Baseball Coach Frank Maldonado announced the first annual Play 9 Fundraising Dinner Wednesday.

“An annual event like this will go a long way toward providing our program the financial support needed to increase our student-athlete experience,” Maldonado said. “We are really excited as we prepare for the upcoming season, and the coaching staff and student-athletes have been working hard putting together a product that will make the Greensboro College community proud.”

The event will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, in Greensboro College’s Lea Center, with American League All-Star and 2016 ERA Champion Aaron Sanchez delivering the keynote address. There will also be a special meet and greet opportunity at 6 p.m. for an additional cost.

The dinner provides an opportunity to meet alumni, coaches, and current Pride players before the start of the 2017 season, with all proceeds going directly to the Pride baseball team.
