Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Glenn Boys Basketball:Hennigan, Davis, Rakes and Funderburg help NWG run past Glenn for the Vikings’ win

NORTHWEST GUILFORD 87, GLENN 49
GAME NOTES:
–From the opening tap, Northwest Guilford seized control of the game in the form of a 14-0 run and never looked back as they were well on their way. It was obvious that the effort level and intensity from the Vikings was on point this evening as they forced the tempo and created opportunities for each other by sharing the ball to the tune of 23 assists on 36 made field goals. After leading by 16 points at the half, Northwest never looked back and ended the conference win by a final score of 87-49.
–The Vikings were led by Thomas Henningan who finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Reggie Davis contributed 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Matt Rakes added 14 points and 4 assists. David Funderberg poured in 10 points to go along with 7 rebounds and Jacob Davis had 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Jalen Spicer set the tone for the Vikings as he navigated through the Bobcat defense on the way to 6 points, 9 assists, and 4 rebounds. Kyle Sullivan came off the bench to contribute 7 points and 3 rebounds for Northwest.
–The Bobcats were led by Rachard Daniels and Toby Brown who finished 13 and 9 points a piece.
