Game Report on Northwest Guilford-High Point Central Boys Basketball:Double-Davis with Reggie and Jacob setting the tone and Thomas Hennigan chipping in 10

NORTHWEST GUILFORD 66, HIGH POINT CENTRAL 38
GAME NOTES:
–After a sluggish 1st quarter, the Northwest Vikings woke up and then turned up the pressure as they outscored High Point Central 17-2 in the 2nd quarter. This led to a 27-15 halftime score and culminated in a 66-38 conference win for the Vikings. During the course of the game, the Vikings also took SIX charges to thwart any hopes of a comeback attempt for the Bison. Northwest amassed 19 assists on 27 made field goals as they shared the ball and got quality shots on the offensive end.
–Reggie Davis led the Vikings with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. Jacob Davis added 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Thomas Henningan finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists while Jalen Spicer stuffed the stat sheet with 7 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals. Matt Rakes contributed a solid effort on both ends of the floor with 5 points and 6 assists.
–High Point Central was led by Daylon McBride 10 points.
