GREENSBORO, N.C. – Jamiah Lewis posted straight-set wins at first singles and first doubles in Bridgewater College’s 9-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women’s tennis win at Guilford College Saturday.

Lewis teamed with Shannon Quinn for an 8-0 win over the Quakers’ Nora Prokosch and Chandler MacDonald. She later downed Katie Claggett in first singles, 6-1, 6-1.

The Eagles (1-2, 1-1 ODAC) swept the three doubles contests, thanks to a gallant effort from Nicole Shifflett and Whitney Kiser. The pair held off Guilford’s top doubles tandem of Claggett and Leigh Fishman, 8-6.

Kiser topped Prokosch, 6-2, 6-2, at second singles in the closest singles tilt.

Coach Dave McCain’s Quakers (1-3, 0-1 ODAC) host league-rival Washington and Lee University Sunday (3/5) at 2:00 p.m. on the McMichael Centennial Class Courts.
