ELON, N.C. – Elon University’s men’s tennis match scheduled for Friday, March 31, against Coastal Carolina has been postponed to Saturday, April 1, at 10 a.m.
The change has been made due to projected inclement weather in the region on Friday afternoon. Saturday’s forecast indicates a sunny day with a high of 74 degrees.
The change in schedule creates a doubleheader at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center with the women’s tennis team also taking on East Carolina at 10 a.m. The following day, the Phoenix will hold Senior Day against Winthrop at 2 p.m. Before the match, the team will honor Petar Tomic, Chris Humphreys and Neal Port for their contributions to the program over their careers in maroon and gold.
