Game was at 2-0 SWG early and then it became 4-1 SWG, before the SWG Cowboys opened it up with 7 runs in the Top of the 6th Inning, to take this one home, 11-1 SWG, your final in 6 Innings…LP was Clay Dildae for WG, but he pitched pretty solid for the majority of the game….Will catch the SWG winner later(WP was Colin Busick) and it was not Blendinger, since he threw and won last night vs. East Forsyth and it was not Jacob Edwards, he is due to pitch for SWG in the conference game on Friday vs. Northwest Guilford…..SWG now at (10-2) overall and that should put WG right at (5-5) and the Hornets should have picked up a forfeit from Central Davidson on Tuesday, on a game at CD that was called due to wet grounds, and the WG inspector that drove over to inspect the CD field said the field was mushy, but not unplayable….In tonight’s game, Western Guilford also used pitchers Troy Flippin and Nick Thompson and that info is courtesy of WG official scorer, Bill Ahrens…..
*****Blendinger(SWG) with 20 first-pitch strikes vs. 25 batters in the SWG-EF game on Tuesday night…Got to say that is pretty strong stuff he had going there…..*****
