The Vikings built an early lead by scoring four runs in the opening inning to advance to the semifinals.
Josh Bowling had a pair of hits and scored two runs for Northwest Guilford (9-7). Michael Foster finished 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles.
Laney (5-10) scored two runs in the first and two more in the fourth. Cole Decker and Jordan Vass each collected two hits.
