Impressive day on Saturday for Hendon Hooker(Dudley HS) at Virginia Tech Hokies’ Spring Football Game

from Paul Woody at the Richmond Times-Dispatch:
If they go only on Saturday’s spring game, Hendon Hooker(Dudley High School) would be the leader(QB) in the clubhouse. Unofficial statistics indicated he completed 10 of 11 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.

There was one blemish for Hooker, as his one missed pass went for an interception and Paul Woody(Richmond Times-Dispatch) got the inside on the pick:
“It was an in and an out route, and I don’t know if he didn’t get the signal or what,” Virginia Tech Hokies’ head coach Justin Fuente said of Hooker. “(Wide receiver) Phil (Patterson) was doing what he was supposed to be doing. Hendon threw it inside. I don’t know the reason for it, but yes, it was a miscommunication.”
