Kernersville Bulldogs completed a 3-1 holiday weekend with a comeback 8-7 league win over the Va Marlins Monday night.

Noah Carter Rockingham CC picked up the win in relief. Timmy Fischvogt with a 3-5 day and a Jackson Meadows game tying single highlighted the comeback. Ryan Caveness GTCC, got game winning rbi in the eighth inning…

On Saturday the Bulldogs fell 16-3 to the Thomasville HiToms but they bounced back Sunday picking up a league doubleheader sweep of the Deep River Muddogs 3-2 and 3-0.

Tanner Routh, GTCC, hurled an 11 strikeout no hitter in the first game win. Dylan Wilkinson ,Timmy fischvogt, and Michael Garvey accounted for the three Bulldog runs.

In game two Joseph Peeler and Bryan Ketchie combined on a three hit shutout with Timmy Fischvogt driving in two key runs for Kernersville that sparked the win.

Kernersville 7-1 on the year will travel to Mooresville Wednesday to face the Carolina Virginia Collegiate League leading Spinners.
