The Kernersville Bulldogs used the two-hit pitching of GTCC’s Tanner Routh and former App State righty Seth Hardin for a 5-1 win over the Charlottle Crushers to pick up their 10th win of the season on Sunday.
Tyler Price of GTCC with a RBI double and former HP Christian stars Dylan Wilkinson with two hits and Timmy Fischvogt with two RBI’s paced the Bulldog offense in the win.
The second game of the doubleheader was suspended in the third inning with the Bulldogs up 3-0 when rain washed the game.
On Saturday night GTCC hurlers Will Hicks and Chris Kernen came in to slam the door in a comeback 11-10 win over the Va. Marlins Hicks would pick up the win for the Bulldogs.
GTCC star shortstop Michael Garvery(WSSU 2018) with a 4-5 night and Trey Hinton and Timmy Fishvoght would pick up three hits for Kernersviile. Bulldogs are 10-1 on the summer!
