Carlos Rodon(N.C. State) to start today for the Winston-Salem Dash in 5pm game at Five County Stadium/Grasshoppers home vs. Hagerstown Suns

Carlos Rodon, the former N.C. State pitcher, will start game one of a doubleheader today for the Winston-Salem Dash, as the Dash meet the Carolina Mudcats at Five County Stadium, in Zebulon…

Rodon, with Chicago White Sox, is on rehab assignment, as he suits up today for the Dash, in their matchup with the Mudcats(Milwaukee Brewers), in this Class A Carolina League battle.

LHP Rodon is on the the Chicago White Sox 60-day disabled list with left shoulder bursitis, his rehab start will be the fifth game of his career in a Dash uniform after playing four games for the team back when he was drafted in 2014.

Again game time is 5pm today at Five County Stadium in Zebulon….

In Greensboro tonight, you have the Greensboro Grasshoppers(30-25) vs. the Hagerstown Suns(33-23)…The Suns are the #1 team in the South Atlantic League’s Northern Division standings and the Hoppers are just two and a-half games back of Hagerstown, in third place….

Greensboro vs. Hagerstown in a three-game series beginning tonight(Tuesday) and running through Thursday night, at First National Bank Field, in downtown Greensboro…..
