The 58th Annual National Sports Media Association Awards Weekend takes place in Winston-Salem, June 25-26. Among those who will be attending:
– Hall of Fame inductees Linda Cohn (ESPN) and Mike Lupica (NY Daily News)
– 2016 National Sportswriter of the Year Tom Verducci (Sports Illustrated)
– NSMA Hall of famers Rick Reilly (Banquet emcee) and Bob Ryan (Boston Globe)
– More than 40 state sportscasters and sportswriters of the year from all over the country, including NC Sportswriter of the Year Ed Hardin of the News and Record.

The highlights:
Sunday, June 25th
— Welcome reception in the IMG College lobby on Trade Street
— Legacy Night, featuring the Roone Arledge Award presentation to The Players’ Tribune (president Jaymee Messler and contributing editor C.J. McCollum of the Portland Trail Blazers); The Sports Reporters LIVE, paying homage to the ESPN show, with Messler, McCollum, Lupica and Ryan on the panel… at Bridger Field House, BB&T Field (Wake’s football stadium)
Monday, June 26th
– 58th NSMA Awards Reception & Banquet at the Millennium Center, Fifth Street.
