Mekhi Wall(Hairston Middle School) does it all in National Junior Olympics Track and Field Meet at EMU

Mekhi Wall, a rising 8th-grader at Hairston Middle School, won the 100 meter hurdles and 200 meter hurdles and he finished 10th in the 100 meter dash, in last week’s National Junior Olympics Track and Field Meet, at Eastern Michigan University….

Mekhi, a member of the Hairston Middle School track and football teams, showed times of 13.98 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles, he ran a 26.2 in the 200 meter hurdles and his time was 11.85 in the 100 meter dash….Mekhi has a personal best/PR of 11.83 in the 100 meter dash….

Mekhi Wall runs for the Carolina Flash Track Club…..

Again Mekhi is the National Champ in the 100 and 200 meter hurdles for his Junior Olympic age group and he had a good run in the 100 dash, with his 10th place finish at the National Junior Olympics….

Looks like the Hairston Middle School should have a promising football and track season coming up in 2017-2018, with Mekhi Wall standing tall and ready to do all he can to lead his school, to the City Titles….

Congratulations Mekhi Wall for representing Greensboro and Guilford County well on the national scene/stage, at the 2017 AAU National Junior Olympics…..
