High School Football Scrimmages coming up Today/Wednesday:Time to get out there and catch some Football(Check out the Game Reports)

*****Best running back we saw today was Malachi Manness, from Ragsdale….He has 4.45 speed in the 40 and he is a tough runner too….Manness should have a very good season running for Ragsdale as long as he can stay healthy, and he is on both offense and defense and he returns kicks and punts…Going to be a busy young man, but he is a prime RB….Coach Boykin’s Ragsdale team is not big but they are quick and they hit pretty good too with Tre Goode another leader on both offense and defense….Devan Boykin will have to play big for Ragsdale at QB….Coach Johnny Boykin is a good fit to lead this Tiger Team….

Coach Robertson at Eastern has a surplus of players and they will not have to run too many kids both ways unless they really want to….Coach Rob has done a great job of building this program and it is in very good shape with Dominique Graves at QB and Zion Walker at RB and Nic Cheeley at WR…..

Pretty even with Northeast Guilford vs. Southeast Guilford based on what I saw and I caught the end of the evening scrimmage and the goal-line situations….NEG can hang and new Coach Earl Bates may up and surprise some people with his Rams….Talked with Coach Kennedy Tinsley and he is going to work his Falcons in a positive way this year and his outlook is up and he wants to keep his kids up and I told him he has two good leaders in Ryan Douglas(QB) and Jax Hackett(LB) and DE Tre Love is as good as in kid at his position in the state of North Carolina…Love could be a Shrine Bowl candidate if he attends or attended the combines…..Same for Devin Allen at DE up at Northeast, he was being recruited by Larry Fedora and UNC last season….

Saw a lot of football today and will have more video showing up tomorrow when we get some faster internet speed than our Verizon Hot Spot offers at night…..Did get over to Page, as I opted out to hit NEG at SEG, since I can catch Page on Friday at Dudley and since both NEG and SEG will be up in Reidsville on Friday…..*****

+++++Last check we had as we were observing SWG at Grimsley, it was tied at 3-3/3 Touchdowns each for the Grimsley varsity vs. the SWG varsity….Wiggins for Grimsley, Harris for Grimsley, McMillan for Grimsley having strong days and Rainey is the man for SWG, as Rainey goes, so goes Southwest Guilford….That kid could be the top QB in all of the Triad for this season….Running and passing, Rainey is the “Real Deal”….+++++

  1. The only school we don’t have a report on is High Point Andrews and I wonder what they are doing tonight???

Thank-you Northern Guilford Guilford and Smith for checking in….We should see on Friday over at Dudley, unless they get stormed out and then the Dudley Jamboree would be moved to Saturday at Noon….

  2. I have to be honest, SE vs NE was not even. SE walked down the field on their first possession. After that it was pretty much the second string offense. NE trew two picks three plays apart AND they had two horrible miscues on snaps. Had it been a game SE would havr been up pretty big. That being said, NE has talent and some size, but they aren’t as sharpe as they could be right now.
