FRONT ROYAL, Va. – The Greensboro College women’s soccer team defeated the Crusaders of Christendom College to remain perfect in 2017 Friday, 5-0.

Madison Karch and Samantha Whipp accounted for two goals each, while Mercedes Fisher added one goal.

Mary Lowe added an assist in the game and Brittany Morrison picked up her first win of the season in goal for the Pride.

“It is not easy to win on the road,” Head Coach Gus Mota said. “I was happy with the girls’ performance today given they traveled all day and competed without any rest.

“We will continue to work hard to get better each time out and we are looking forward to tomorrow’s game.”

Full stats for the contest will be available at a later time.

The Pride women will return to action at 4 p.m. Saturday when they travel to Notre Dame of Maryland University. For more information on Greensboro College women’s soccer, continue to follow www.greensborocollegesports.com.
