BALTIMORE, Md. – The Greensboro College women’s soccer team defeated Keystone College Sunday 3-0.

Neither team was able to find the back of the net until the Pride got a goal from Angela Niles in the 67th minute following a Keystone miscue.

With Greensboro holding on to the one goal advantage, Devin D’Agostin extended the lead to 2-0 with her second goal of the season off of a free kick from just outside the 18-yard box.

The score then remained the same for the next six minutes until Alexis Chase scored the game’s final goal in the 88th minute on a breakaway opportunity.

“I am proud of my girls as Keystone provided a lot of different challenges,” Head Coach Gus Mota. “Our girls adjusted well in the second half and was to record the victory.

“To win three games in the three days is awesome as it is never easy to play three games in consecutive days. We are excited to get back home and prepare for Emory & Henry Wednesday.”
