Action will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, and at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the tournament is free.

“We are looking forward to hosting our annual Elon Fall Invitational,” said head women’s tennis coach Elizabeth Anderson. “We have a very strong field and look forward to some great tennis at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.”

The following eight schools, in addition to the Phoenix, will be making the trip to the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center for the event: Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, East Tennessee State, Emory, Longwood, N.C. Central, UNCG and UNCW.

The tournament draws will be updated throughout each day of the tournament. You can access the draws for the tournament HERE.

Elon brings a ton of experience into the 2017-18 season, returning seven of its nine players from the 2016-17 season. In singles, the Phoenix welcomes back each of its top five singles players in Erica Braschi, Olivia Lucas, Suzanne Zenoni, Kirsten Ward and Maria Paraja. Elon made its fifth consecutive trip to its conference tournament semifinals during its 2017 spring season, but fell short of the championship match losing 4-1 to runner-up UNCW. The Phoenix has made it to the CAA Championship semifinals in each of its three seasons as a member of the Colonial Athletic Association.
