“This was the best team we have played so far,” SWR coach Seth Baxter said. “They are so fast. We knew we were going to have to play our best. Our kids played hard. We just got beat by a better team.”

CLICK HERE for J.P. Mundy at the News and Record on Southwest Guilford’s dramatic win over the Dudley Panthers on Friday night….That injury bug is killing Dudley with Myles Berry gone, D.J. Crossen was out last night, Gerald Simpson couldn’t go, Alston Hooker got banged up, Reggie Robertson came back and had to leave again, The Dudley Panthers are now the ‘walking wounded’ and SWG got to Dudley last night and it sounds like the SWG ‘D’ with John Oxce and Sean McIntosh made the two big plays of the game on those defensive takeaways and we can’t blame those on injury, those were just great preparation plays by the Southwest Guilford Cowboys and the Cowboys had done their homework…
