College Volleyball Final – Randolph-Macon 3, Guilford 0

ASHLAND, Va. – Randolph-Macon College remained perfect in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball play Friday with a 25-18, 25-18, 25-10 home win over visiting Guilford College.

The Yellow Jackets (17-4, 9-0 ODAC) trailed only once in the three sets and hit .286 as a team. Mariah Clark put down eight kills with no errors in 18 attempts for a .444 hitting percentage. She added two blocks and two of Randolph-Macon’s six service aces for a match-best 11 points. Teammate Miranda Hall shared match-high honors with nine kills and also picked up seven digs. All-ODAC setter Erin Quinn had 18 assists, six digs and an ace. Rebecca McGilvery contributed four kills and 10 digs.

Christian Ritter paced Guilford’s offense with nine kills and also had nine digs. Casey Davis, Jessica Sheek and Morgan Tompkins each had four kills for the Quakers (11-8, 4-4 ODAC). Kylee Crook registered 19 assists, five digs and a block in her second straight start in place of injured starter Tina Eucker. Libero Davis had a match-best 10 digs. She and Michaela Allred both had three blocks apiece. Guilford was plagued by 23 attack errors and a .010 team hitting percentage.
