Landen Johnson/LBJ(Dudley HS) getting some good pub today over at NCPreps.com

Landen Johnson, a tough linebacker, from Dudley High School talked with NCPreps.com and gave them some good insight into his season….At 6’2/200 pounds, Landen Johnson has posted some impressive numbers this season for the Dudley Panthers with 52 solo tackles, 42 assisted tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 3 pass break-ups…..

A strong and productive season indeed and this young man keeps on getting better and better at what he is doing for the Panthers and main thing he is doing is covering the entire/whole football field and he has been accountable for all of his actions on the football and in the classroom and the last time we checked he was at or about the #6 ranked student academically in his class at Dudley High School and doing most of his work through the Early College program…

Landen said he is getting some good looks from several colleges including Harvard, Princeton, Hampton, Charlotte and East Carolina and there may be more schools surfacing once the 2017 season is complete and the season will not really be complete until Dudley HS has brought home another State Championship….

Landon told NCPreps.com that he has also been getting some good press and pub/publicity…….He said,
“I’m starting to get some news coverage from HSXtra, Greensboro Sports, and Friday Night Rivalries.”

*****We have always referred to Landen Johnson as LBJ here at the site, in honor of our former president Lyndon Baines Johnson and Landen I think is actually checking as LCJ, but as usual, we are pretty close on the call…..*****

On Lyndon Baines Johnson, from Wikipedia:
Lyndon Baines Johnson, often referred to as LBJ, was an American politician who served as the 36th President of the United States from 1963 to 1969, assuming the office after serving as the 37th Vice President of the United States from 1961 to 1963. A Democrat from Texas, he also served as a United States Representative and as the Majority Leader in the United States Senate. Johnson is one of only four people who have served in all four federal elected positions
