Nobody would give up/No quit in those young men in the World Series last night:Astros over Dodgers an “Instant Classic”

The final was 13-12 last night, in the 10-inning ‘World Series Classic’, that gave the Houston Astros a 3-2 lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers and in that Game 5 win by the ‘Stros, it seemed like nobody would quit, no one on either team/side was ready to give up/give in….

The game felt like it lasted longer than 10 Innings and it must have ended around 1:30am Eastern time, I was watching the game, but made sure not to look too close at the clock, you just knew when it was over, it was time to get to bed, but could you go to sleep, as soon as you hit the bed after a game like this one???

Like Bart Simpson used to say, “No Way Man”…..”I think it’s crazy, man,” said Astros shortstop Carlos Correa, who went 3-for-5 with a home run and a double……..

Houston’s Alex Bregman hit a walk-off single into left field off Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen in the 10th inning to score pinch-runner Derek Fisher from second base with the game-winner…..Fisher was running for Brian McCann who was hit by a pitch on the release by Jansen and the hit by Bregman to left field didn’t initially appear to be deep enough to score Fisher, but his speed must have made a big difference….Baseball’s Derek Fisher, faster that basketball’s Derek Fisher, I guess….
