Congratulations to Senior Maddie Smith for earning a spot on NC State’s swim team.
Maddie has been on the Caldwell swim team since 7th Grade, earning All-Conference & All-State
honors each year. In addition, Maddie, holds multiple records in the NCISAA conference, as well
as multiple Caldwell records.
Outside of Caldwell, Maddie is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American
for the 2016-2017 season and is in line to earn that honor again this year. She has been in the girl’s
Top 10 swimmers in NC for three events and recently earned Top 5 recognition in Raleigh at the
NC Swimming annual awards banquet.
In signing with N C State, Maddie joins four other girls from
the recruiting class that SwimSwam.com ranks No. 4 in women’s swimming…….
