Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Calvary Day School Boys Basketball:NWG Vikings drop Game One in the Kernersville-Chrysler Dodge Shootout

GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and Calvary Day School battled in the Kernersville – Chrysler Dodge Shootout that resulted in a 79-75 win for the Cougars. Northwest was able to jump out to a 16-12 lead in the 1st quarter, but the Cougars used a 9-2 run at the beginning of the 2nd quarter to take control of the game into halftime as they led 33-30. Despite a cold shooting 3rd quarter, the Vikings were able to cut a double-digit lead to three, but Calvary made timely shots to seal the win.
–Tristan Perry led Northwest with 23 points, 4 rebounds, & 3 assists. Christian Hampton finished with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists while Dean Reiber added 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks for the Vikings.
–Calvary Baptist was led by J. Gammons with 23 points. D. Gross and C. Harris contributed 19 and 18 points respectively for the Cougars.
