*****Five things I learned about the Northwest Guilford girls basketball team, while watching today’s game:*****
1)Don’t take the ball inside vs. Liz Kitley…..
2)Kitley is a very confident center/post player and she calls for the ball to come inside to her…..
3)Lindsay Gauldin is a smart player and she is looking up with her eyes wide-open and up at all times and she is able to see the entire court and find her teammates open on offense…Open eyes lead to open buckets/baskets…
4)Bria Gibbs does a lot of the dirty work, but she is a very patient player and she gets rewarded for her efforts…
5)Reagan Kargo can nail the three-point shot….
+++++Strong outing for the NWG girls today and they defeated a very good West Forsyth Titan team and the game was not even as close as the final score indicates, NWG was in total control of this game….Both teams came out slow and cold to start the second with neither team scoring for about the first 3 1/2 minutes of the third period, but once NWG got warmed up, there was NO looking back.+++++
