Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Eleanor Roosevelt HS Boys Basketball:Vikings fall in Championship Game at Orlando, Fla.

GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and Eleanor Roosevelt H.S. {Eastvale, CA} battled in the championship game of the KSA Events Pre-Holiday Tournament in Orlando, Florida at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex. Both teams fought back and forth throughout the 1st half until the Vikings had a couple of turnovers and empty possessions that resulted in an 8 point deficit at the half. The 2nd half was much of the same where both teams traded baskets and free throws and that frame ended with a 6 point lead for Mustangs. The Vikings were able to scratch and claw back into the game and took the lead midway through the 4th quarter, but the Mustangs made 10 of 12 free throws down the stretch to account for the final 6 point margin of 56-50.
–Christian Hampton led the Vikings with 22 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Dean Reiber contributed 10 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, & 3 blocks while Tristan Perry finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals for Northwest.
–Roosevelt HS was led by D. Agba with 19 points while B. Wade and A. Slade added 14 and 10 points respectively for the Mustangs.
