GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and Ragsdale battled in the consolation bracket of the HAECO Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Ragsdale came out and controlled the tempo from the tap and led the Vikings 14-11 at the end of the 1st quarter. The 2nd and 3rd quarters were much of the same except for a few long-range shots that the Vikings were able to hit to take a brief lead during the 3rd frame. A couple of defensive lapses and cold shooting in the 4th quarter led to the ultimate demise of the Viking as the Tigers made their free throws down the stretch for the final 61-52 margin.
–Tommy Smith led the Vikings with 15 points and 4 rebounds. Dean Reiber finished with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks. Christian Hampton contributed 10 points, 8 rebounds, & 4 assists. Johnny Pagano added 10 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists for Northwest.
–Ragsdale was led by J. Ford with 22 points while D. Boykin and A. Clark added 16 and 14 points respectively for the Tigers.
