Murphy Wainer Orthopedic Specialists High School Tonight Scoreboard(1/5/18):Jumpin’ into ‘The Oven’ down at Southern Guilford High School/Home of the Storm(Sort of a Wild and Crazy night)

More on the way, but this will get us jump-started and see all of the scores down below the spot where we we jump into ‘The Oven’…..

Went down the road and then down the drive and then down the road and out into the woods and by the time I got there, Jeff Carter, the Southern Guilford AD and Evan Fancourt, the Southern Guilford Storm head boys basketball coach, had ‘The Oven’ warmed up and after hitting Randleman Road, Kivett Drive and then Drake Road, it was into ‘The Oven’ at SG….

It was cold outside but it was hot in that gym/’The Oven’ and the boys game was like one of those non-broadcasted classics, that you just show up to watch and you end up talking about the game for a long time and this boy’s game was a Good One…SG led most of the way, but Southeast Guilford, the previously unnamed opponent, took a one point lead over SG late, but could not hang on and Southern made tracks at the end and won this game over Southeast…
Final:Southern Guilford boys 56, Southeast Guilford 48
For SG Dearman with 16 to lead the way, Burch added 12 points, Scales 10 and McFadden had 10 points for the Storm and more on this game a little later on, but it was intense and if you want to see a real dogfight rivalry game, get to one of these SEG vs. SG basketball or football games…There is competitive hatred brewing and stewing between these two Huge Rivals….And can Southern Guilford give the Eastern Guilford Wildcats a run for their money??? Southern will have to get quicker and be much more precise, if they want to keep up with the ‘Cats, but they can, but they have some more serious work to do…Tough week for Southern Guilford school, as they lost a young man from the football team in an automobile accident and they had a moment of silence for him, before the basketball game and I think his name might have been Tae Taylor#10…Basketball team missing #25 Donnie and he hopes to be back soon and Southeast Guilford was missing their basketball coach, Corey Muirfield, who was away from the team attending a funeral for a friend that passed away out of state this past week…
Final #2 from Southern Guilford:Southeast Guilford girls 58, Southern Guilford 32
Wheless from Southern Guilford led all scorers with 19 points, Kennidi Simmons from Southeast Guilford pumped in 17 to lead the SEG Falcons and Haith had 10 for Southern….More on this later in the night……
