Game Report on Northwest Guilford-North Cross Boys Basketball:Vikings fall at 11th Annual Chance Harmon Classic in Virginia(Perry paces NWG with 21 pts.)

GAME NOTES:
–In the noon game of the 11th Annual Chance Harmon Classic, Northwest Guilford and North Cross battled in an entertaining game that saw the Raiders end up with a 66-57 win. Both teams traded baskets during the 1st quarter that ended in a 2-point advantage for the Raiders. The 2nd quarter saw the Vikings put together a few good plays on both ends of the floor until the last 45 seconds when North Cross hit two 3-point baskets en route to a 33-30 halftime lead. The 2nd half saw North Cross extend their lead to as many as 15 points as the Vikings appeared to run out of gas and committed too many mental errors.
–Tristan Perry led the Vikings with 21 points and 4 assists. Dean Reiber finished with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists while Tommy Smith added 9 points and 3 rebounds. Christian Hampton contributed 6 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals for Northwest.
–North Cross was led by Z. Baines with 22 points while N. Bailey finished with 21 points for the Raiders.
