Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Page Boys Basketball:Hampton, Pagano, Thomas and Reiber help get Vikings to (2-0) in the Metro

–Northwest Guilford and Page squared off in an entertaining back-and-forth battle that ended with the Vikings holding on for a 61-58 conference win. Both teams played a very lethargic 1st quarter that ended in a 2-point advantage for the Vikings at 7-5. The 2nd quarter saw the Pirate outhustle Northwest on both ends of the floor that resulted in a 25-19 halftime lead for the Pirates. The 2nd half saw the Vikings come up with a myriad of big plays to take the lead and extend their cushion to as many as 11 points in the 3rd quarter. Northwest made 9 out of 11 free throws in the 4th quarter to seal the win.
–Christian Hampton led the Vikings with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Johnny Pagano finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists while Brandon Thomas added 11 points and 5 rebounds. Dean Reiber contributed 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 blocks for Northwest.
–Page was led by J. King with 17 points while T. Davis and T. Mc Intyre finished with 11 and 10 points respectively for the Pirates.
