The Eagles secured their third straight Central Piedmont 4A Conference victory in similar fashion in the previous 14 games of the season, building leads as large as 35 points (63-28) behind an aggressive defensive pressures, a balanced offense & a large rebounding advantage of 23 over Reagan, which fell to 5-10.

East’s Josh Wiley led all scorers with 15 points and Shemar Watkins added 13 and was one of four Eagles with five rebounds each including Tyren Hairston (also 10 points), Connor Sparrow & Wiley. Dom Jones led all rebounders in the game with eight off the deep Eagles’ bench while PG Jimmy Nichols was scoreless but had a game-high six assists & five steals.

East Forsyth, now 12-3 overall, finishes a three-time road trip on Monday with a 5p game at Mount Tabor, the third meeting between the non-conference rivals.
