  1. The Kiser v. Swann game on Monday night was fantastic. Back and forth throughout, with neither team able to pull ahead by more than a few points. Kiser ultimately prevailed 53-49 after a couple of 3-point plays by Tyler Albright and Jackson Noble in the closing minute. Score might have been even closer as Swann hit a 3 just past half-court with 5 seconds left, but a timeout had been called just a second earlier.

Really impressed with the Swann players and coaches. Kiser thumped them pretty good in the first meeting, but Swann put that loss behind them and came to play. I suspect these two teams will meet up again in the end-of-the-year tourney. Should be another great game!

  2. Kiser 58, Eastern 38.

Kiser opened game with a 25-5 run, and it never got any closer. Jackson Noble led with 16 points. Travis Shaw dominated the boards, and had some terrific passes. Tyler Albright, Cam Spencer and Jordan Wall had Kiser’s fast break humming.

  3. Huge fan of this starting 5 of Kiser. Travis and his great passing, Jackson with his great put backs, Tyler with his dribbling abilities, Jordan with his defense and Hussle and Cam with his ability to shoot, dribble and rebound. Great hustler. These boys seem determined and I feel it will be interesting to see aycock and them in championship.

  4. Kudos to the fan for the train match shoutout. Andy these charter and private schools need some love too. It is not all about northwest guilford. My daughter goes to Summerfield charter they have 3 big time ballers who go unoticed.
